Chapter Executive Committee Meeting

October 4, 2016

PLACE & TIME:

 

The AGA Albuquerque Chapter Executive Committee held a regular board meeting on October 4, 2016, 5:30 p.m., at the RPC CPAs and Consultants, LLP Offices, 2424 Louisiana NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.

 

1.  CALL TO ORDER; ESTABLISH QUORUM

 

President Matt Bone called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. More than four members of the Chapter Executive Committee (CEC) were present and a quorum was established.



2.  REVIEW/APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES

 

The minutes from the September 6, 2016 meeting were approved.

 

3.  TREASURER’S REPORT

 

Victor emailed the bank reconciliation and AR aging as of October 3, 2016.  

 

4.  CHAPTER BUSINESS

 

Discussion regarding the following:

  • CRP for 1st quarter was submitted with 400/500 points we are on track for the Platinum

  • Heather distributed parking passes for the Balloon Fiesta

 

5.  EDUCATION CHAIR REPORT

Marla provided a PDT update and  this month’s education event:

  • The Oct 20 event - mailer went out, one person already registered

  • The planning committee decided to use Hyatt Downtown for the venue.  Marla distributed the menu and cost estimates.

 

ACTION ITEM- Marla to ask Ray to get in touch with David Bean as a potential speaker

 

6.  ACCOUNTABILITY CHAIR REPORT

The CCR was submitted.  Discussion was held to add a notice of completion in the newsletter with a link to the report.

 

7.  MEMBERSHIP CHAIR

 

Chris reported membership has been slow.  Marla suggested at events we add whether or not participants are members on their name tags.  

  • ACTION ITEM Jeff to bring Marla the iPad, so that it can be used at future events

 

8.  COMMUNITY SERVICE CHAIR

Chris reported that Nambe will provide a gift for the PDT to be auctioned, but our Chapter needs to identify which organization we will donate it to. He also reported that he plans organize a Toy Drive in December.

 

  • ACTION ITEM Heather to send information to Chris for the National Community Service food drive and Jennifer will add to the October newsletter



9. WEBMASTER CHAIR

Heather is down to only needing one Bio.  Heather will ask John to invoice the Chapter for services he has performed.

  • ACTION ITEM- Amy to send Heather the minutes since January 2016

 

10. HISTORIAN

Krista requested that evaluations and sign in sheets from the events are given to her, or scanned into sugar sync. – In the future once PDT CPE forms are scanned she will shred the originals.



11.  NEXT CEC MEETING

The next CEC meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 8 , 2016, at 5:30 p.m. at the RPC CPAs and Consultants, LLP Offices, 2700 San Pedro NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
