Chapter Executive Committee Meeting

January 10, 2017

The AGA Albuquerque Chapter Executive Committee held a regular board meeting on January 10, 2017, 5:30 p.m., at the RPC CPAs and Consultants, LLP Offices, 2424 Louisiana NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.

 

1.  CALL TO ORDER; ESTABLISH QUORUM

 

President Matt Bone called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. More than four members of the Chapter Executive Committee (CEC) were present and a quorum was established.



2.  REVIEW/APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES

 

The minutes from the December 13, 2016 meeting were approved.

 

3.  TREASURER’S REPORT

 

Victor emailed the bank reconciliation and AR aging as of January 9, 2017, with notations about outstanding A/R balances and the December seminar reconciliation.  Chapter appears to be in line with annual budget.



4.  CHAPTER BUSINESS

 

Discussion regarding the following:

  • CRP reporting points entered – On track toward Platinum status  

  • PDT update – All CEC Members to work on gathering of speakers/sponsors

    • Committee idea to think of potential sponsors outside the usual IPAs and firms

    • Marla will provide requested potential listing of topics to give to speakers

    • Sponsor interest from JAG and Hinkle & Landers

    • CGFM day still pending interest from February class

 

5.  EDUCATION CHAIR REPORT

  • Discussion held around getting advertising out for CGFM Test 2 series in February

    • ACTION ITEM: Marla will send blast announcement to advertise

    • Jennifer mentioned that several City of Alb. Employees are planning to attend

  • January luncheon update – 9 people signed up so far

    • ACTION ITEM: Marla will send to Donna for distribution

  • February seminar registrations are coming in



6.  CGFM CHAIR REPORT

  • ACTION ITEM: Marla will make flyer to advertise ‘You Pass, We Pay’ program



7.  ACCOUNTABILITY CHAIR REPORT

  • Donna will present the CCR at the February seminar.

    • ACTION ITEM: Marla to make copies of the CCR to distribute for the event

 

8.  MEMBERSHIP CHAIR

 

Chris updated CEC about addition of 2 new members during December.

 

9.  COMMUNITY SERVICE CHAIR

Toys collected were taken to Carrie Tingley by Chris and Jav.



10. WEBMASTER CHAIR

Heather provided update of website migration.  Albuquerque has been requested to attend a conference call with National to go over plan for migration.  Heather and John will attend call during March to go over plan for migration and requested items.  Request made for group to send any additions for website to her.  Meetings minutes have been posted to website, with exception of few with naming questions.  

  • ACTION ITEM: Matt and Marla to provide bios for website

 

11. HISTORIAN

Krista renewed Sugarsync, and continues to update and sort site.  

  • ACTION ITEM: Jeff and Marla will hand off all paperwork over to Krista for final upload.

 

12.  NEWSLETTER

Jennifer asked group to send any items to her for newsletter.  

 

13.  EARLY CAREER

No updates.  

 

14.  NEXT CEC MEETING

The next CEC meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. at the RPC CPAs and Consultants, LLP Offices, 2424 Louisiana NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
